Student of the Month Interview

How does it feel to be the student of the month?

I feel very honored to have been chosen as student of the month, and I'm very proud to have been chosen out of all of the students in our school.
What extracurricular activities do you participate in?

I participate in Student Council, Key Club, wrestling, and lacrosse.
How long, on an average day, do you spend doing those extracurricular activities?

I spend three to four hours for sports every day, and an hour for Student Council and Key Club on the days that I participate in those activities.
How much time do you spend on homework on an average day?

I spend five hours on homework each night, however it can vary. It depends on whether it's an A or a B day.
Which classes do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy biology and geometry the most.
Why do you like those classes the most?

I like those classes the best because they are interesting, and the teachers make the learning fun. 
What is your motivation for success?

My motivation for success is the goal to succeed in life.
Why is that your motivation to succeed?

That's my motivation because I want to have a nice, fulfilling life.
How do you hope to achieve your goals?

I hope to achieve my goals by continuing to do well in school and extracurricular activities.
Describe how you try to treat others?

I try to treat others as kindly and respectfully as I can.
How do you behave in a school setting?

In a school setting, I act respectfully and behave well.
How is your behavior at school different than your behavior at home?

My behavior at school is more polished and professional than my behavior at home.
How do you take on responsibilities at school?

I try to do the best that I possibly can, and I don't give up until I've finished the task.
Why do you think that you were chosen for student of the month?

I think I was chosen because I work hard and I'm a responsible student.
What would you say to someone who wants to be student of the month?

If I were talking to someone who wants to be student of the month, I would tell them to try as hard as they can to achieve their goals and behave well.
Was becoming student of the month a goal of yours?

Becoming student of the month was never a goal of mine, however I feel honored to have been chosen.
Will you change anything in your behavior or activities, now that you were chosen as student of the month?

I won't change anything about my behavior because I believe that the way I was acting worked before, and it will continue to work.
How did you find out that you were student of the month?

I found out that I was student of the month by my counselor telling me so.
When did you find out that you were student of the month?

I found out that I was student of the month at the beginning of this month.
What was your first reaction to becoming student of the month?

My first reaction was that I was shocked that I had been chosen out of all of the students.
